Hi Reader Friends,

First, I’d like to say a hearty welcome to those of you reading my newsletter for the very first time. In the event you don’t recall how you got on my list, you may have participated in the Naughty Group contest. That means you’ve been naughty not nice!

So, are you like me, dreaming of a warm Christmas, or is it bitterly cold in your part of the world?

As I write this letter, the South is experiencing some unusually cool weather. We’ve been in the sixties during the day, and fifties at night. Yes, I know that’s shorts and Tee-shirt weather for some of you. Down here it's break out the boots and coats. Can you believe some even wear earmuffs? I hear you laughing.


That said, there’s a lot to love about this month of December. The excitement in the air is palpable. Malls are bursting at the seams with shoppers, homes have lights and glitterati, and there’s a whole lot of baking going on. People seem kinder and gentler. Must be all that eggnog being served.

Feel Good Books!
December is also the time of year that those ‘feel good books’ get downloaded to electronic devices. Speaking of which, I have two coming out. I’m excited to have collaborated with a couple of talented authors; Sandra Kitt and Bettye Griffin. Do you recall that infamous red dress, last year that changes lives? Well the dress is back again. But this time our couples are Rockin’ the Rockies, and they tell their individual stories from two points of view.


 Holiday Reading
My second release with bestselling author, Sandra Kitt is titled By Design. The setting is Philly during the holidays. Our heroine, a marketing executive has just lost her job and is forced to take a position way beneath her. She takes a sales associate job at the only black owned high-end department store then finds out it’s going under. The one executive who can save the day is a man she had a tryst with years ago. But whose side is he on? The store owner’s or the entrepreneur about to buy them out?
