Dear Reader,

It’s time to wrap up another year. Why is it the older I get, the faster the year seems to fly by? And what a year 2019 has been. For the most part it’s been a good year for me. I’ve traveled a bit, and travel is very much a part of me.

In May, after fifteen years of not being back in my hometown, I returned to the Caribbean island paradise where I was born. While the occasion was a sad one, (my favorite uncle had passed away,) seeing so many of the people I grew up with, made so many wonderful memories come alive. I now have a much better appreciation for island living. After all, how many of us wake up each day to azure skies, crystal clear waters, and genuine people?

Following that trip, I headed off to New York City (where I grew up) for the annual Romance Writers Conference. New York has always been the city of my heart, and it felt good to greet old friends and make new ones. In this crazy up and down business, support is very much needed.

Come fall, I headed for Northern Europe and a cruise. The adventure continued while navigating the streets of London, Rotterdam, Hamburg and Paris. It was great to meet up with friends and see these cities from their eyes.

The cherry on the sundae was the City of Lights. Imagine sauntering down the Champs Elysees and popping into one more wonderful store than the other? And of course, I did what any good Parisian would, buy a beret with Paris and the Eiffel Tower tastefully embroidered on the front.

This year was not my most prolific in terms of writing, though I did flesh out quite a few plots. Ring in the Moment; the sequel to Ring in the Holidays was also released. This holiday season both are available as a bundle. You, my dear reader can pick up these two at the bargain price of $2.99. Order here.

As this year comes to a close, I have a special holiday gift for those recommending my newsletter to readers. For every 5 readers signing up, you’ll receive a $10 Amazon card. Please email me their names and confirmation once they’ve signed up, and that gift card will be sent to you

I am wishing you and yours the happiest of holiday seasons! There is no better gift than paying your good luck forward. Help someone less fortunate. by donating to a worthy cause.
