Happy Valentine's Day Lovebirds,
Just wanted to show a little love and send a Happy Valentine’s shout out to my book lover friends and fans. Here's a not so fun fact about how Valentine’s day came to be.
Popular legend has it that Roman Emperor Claudius 11 executed Saint Valentine of Terni on February 14, 278 A.D. His crime? Performing marriages in secret after Claudius banned them. The emperor wanted to encourage single men to join the army. He thought that unmarried soldiers fought better since they had no emotional attachments back at home. Valentine signed his farewell note, “From Your Valentine,” before he was unfortunately beheaded.

Remember random acts of kindness go a long way. But more importantly, always be kind! You never know when someone's hurting!
